Director of Industrial/Manufacturing Construction

Director : Industrial/Manufacturing 

Welty is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial leader to help grow our industrial & manufacturing market verticals.

The Responsibilities of this individual would be as follows:

• Engage in business development, opening up new relationships with prospects in the industrial/manufacturing market, and identifying project opportunities


• Work with Welty’s preconstruction team to lead pursuit efforts on industrial/manufacturing opportunities


• Provide leadership to Welty’s operations teams during the construction phase of industrial/manufacturing projects.


• Support Welty operations in identifying and onboarding key talent to support the growth of the Industrial/Manufacturing market vertical

This individual would have the following traits:

• 15+ years of experience working in management roles on Industrial/Manufacturing projects


• Relationships with Owners, Engineers, and Subcontractors that work in the Industrial/Manufacturing market vertical


• Currently or recently working in a role (Sr. Project Manager, Project Executive, Director, Etc.) with a General Contractor, Owner’s Rep, or Engineer/Design Firm that works in the Industrial Manufacturing setting


• Does not have to be located in Northeast Ohio, but must be willing to travel to Northeast Ohio frequently. Preferably located in the Eastern US or Midwest.

• Welty is an entrepreneurial company with a growing presence in the Industrial/Manufacturing market sector, with client loyalty from a large and expending client, for whom we are construction several large projects in 3 states.


• This position would have an early leadership role in a market vertical that is important to the future growth of our business, reporting directly to Welty’s President.


• As a director, in addition to a competitive base salary, this position would be compensated through an aggressive profit-sharing structure, enabling significant financial gain from their actions.


• Does not have to be located in Northeast Ohio, but must be willing to travel to Northeast Ohio frequently. Preferably located in the Eastern US or Midwest.
