HUM NUTRITION Director of Influencer Marketing

  • The Director of Influencer Marketing will spearhead and shape our data ROI driven strategy for both earned and paid influencer collaborations, as well as brand ambassador initiatives.
  • We're seeking a candidate deeply immersed in the influencer landscape, with established connections to health & wellness, beauty and lifestyle content creators, and adept at orchestrating and evaluating comprehensive campaign outcome
  • Your role will be to devise and implement influencer strategies and day-to-day operations, harnessing paid approaches to foster substantive awareness, engagement, and conversion.

PARTNERSHIP STRATEGY AND MANAGEMENT

  • Lead strategy and execution of all paid partnerships, evaluating performance for ongoing collaboration opportunities on a whitelisting basis.
  • Responsible for metrics driven approach to influencer activations ensuring they are rooted in whitelisting opportunity and performance
  • Develop and oversee an annual influencer roadmap, aligning with key brand milestones and product launches.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to pinpoint product focal points for each campaign, ensuring alignment with our KPIs and brief development.
  • Lead contract negotiation with talent and their representatives/agencies, guaranteeing contractual adherence.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with relevant influencers, advocating for our brand and principles to foster genuine support.
  • Manage the influencer marketing budget, striving to maximize long-term returns on investment.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging opportunities within the realm of influencer marketing.
  • Closely Collaborate with the paid media team for whitelisted content approval and timely implementation
  • Guide and manage HUM’s Influencer Manager on curating talent and collaborate on bringing roadmap to life
  • Mentor and provide ownership and leadership to Influencer manager who will support and play a pivotal role on the activation and strategy
  • This position's core duty entails crafting and overseeing all influencer activities aimed at bolstering social reach, fostering engagement, and driving sales referrals through a blend of organic, paid, and affiliate-driven initiatives.
  • Take the helm in devising and executing a compelling, results-oriented influencer program that effectively communicates and amplifies our brand's essence.
  • Manage and curate all influencer content, ensuring compliance with usage rights and contracts, readily accessible to internal stakeholders.
  • Recommend and oversee influencer program assets, encompassing seeding packages, event integrations, and in-house initiatives.
  • Analyze, gauge, and report on influencer endeavors, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for heightened success.

 

Education & Experience Requirements

  • 7+ years of influencer paid and whitelisting experience and 5+ management experience

  • Experience in beauty, wellness, and/or direct-to-consumer brand or agency experience within those industries

  • Proven success or track record of developing full funnel influencer campaigns that have contributed to business performance (ROAS, CAC, LTV, etc) and brand goals

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organization and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to deeply understand strategic ideas, imagine how to bring them to life and execute, and provide learnings + feedback to refine strategy

  • Highly effective communicator and collaborator

  • Highly creative and consistently find new ways to market products and engage partners

  • Analytical and data-driven –– you use data to make decisions and when you don’t have data, you search for anecdotal and qualitative information to gain insights

  • Ability to take/give feedback and bring the best out of your team members

  • Roll up your sleeves to get the job done work ethic and attitude

  • Experience working in smaller, high-growth companies

  • Committed to education and deepening self-learning

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • A deep understanding and interest in our industry and is up to date on pop culture

  • Extensive experience with e-comm and digital/social marketing. Must have a strong understanding of how digital experiences should look, feel, and work

  • Hands on experience managing large influencer communities and investments

  • Excellent communication skills. Strength building, and leading a team

  • Team player, self-starter and strong sense of accountability and ownership

  • Must be able to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail

  • Managerial skills and cross functional thought leadership a must
