We are currently seeking a Director of Performance Measurement to join our team in our St. Louis Office.
JOB OVERVIEW: The Director of Performance Reporting will report to the President and be responsible for Cardinal’s performance measurement services, specifically: day-to-day management of our performance measurement personnel and resources; and the strategic vision for performance measurement at Cardinal.
Maintaining a best-in-class performance measurement service offering will require the Director’s successful creation and use of:
· Organizational formations
· Training and development programs
· Technological innovations
· Procedural codification and audit
· Fostering creativity and collaboration amongst team members
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for all performance personnel and processes
· Performance capacity, resourcing, and needs
· Performance strategic plan and budget
· Recommendations for hiring and firing of internal and external performance resources
· Education plan / curriculum for performance analysts
· Partner with Director of IT for performance system(s)
· Partner with Director of Capital Markets for index and market inputs
· Coordinate with Director of Manager Research for any shared analyst capacity
· Partner with client consulting teams
· Standing member of Cardinal’s internal Investment Policy Committee (IPC)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage the overall performance measurement team which currently includes 20 performance analysts
· Establish new organizational formation into smaller performance teams with team leaders
· Conduct and coordinate performance evaluations of team members and team leaders
· Assist in recruiting and hiring team members
KEY DELIVERABLES IN THE ROLE
· Annual report to the President on the performance function at Cardinal
· 3-yr. strategic plan for performance
· Budget inputs
· Resource requests
· Personnel development plans
· Establish framework to measure cost of performance reporting per client
· Regular audit of performance measurement services
· Coordination of RFP answers around performance measurement
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSET
· Bachelor’s degree or higher
· At least 10 years of industry experience including leading a performance and analytics team and supervising staff
· CIPM desirable, or relevant performance measurement experience
· Presentation Skills
· Business Intelligence / data visualization
· Delegation and project management
· Strategic thinking
· Relationship building at all levels within the organization
Compensation Range: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00, plus discretionary bonus.

position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on
factors, including but not limited to: the individual’s qualifications; relevant
experience; knowledge; skills; and education.
