Sterling Engineering is a growing staffing and engineering services firm that specializes in placing top talent in the U.S and Ireland. We have been working with an industry leading manufacturing company on bringing in an IT Director to oversee a staff of 5-6 people. This will be a great opportunity for a strong IT Manager to take on more responsibility.
Title: IT Director
Salary: 150-175k (will be a bonus as well)
Location: Near Joliet, IL
Job Description:
- Strategic Planning: establish, plan, and administer overall policies and goals for information technology. Analyzing departmental needs and devising ways to meet business objectives through existing or new information processing systems.
- Equipment and Software Management: Manager research and selection of IT equipment, applications, and supplies. Ensuring security and compliance of the IT infrastructure is also part of role.
- Leadership and Coordination: Provide leadership, coordinate IT services, communicate current and projected needs, and integrate enterprise systems and subsystems.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Typically reporting to a CIO or superintendent, you will communicate requirements and options during budgeting processes.
What is Needed?
- Bachelors
- At least 10-15 years of IT experience, 8+ being in management
- ERP experience a must
- Manufacturing experience
- Ability to be on-site
