Essential Job Functions and Duties:

• Due to the face-to-face nature of this position and the necessity of each staff member having experience with each consumer to effectively carry out the outcomes as defined in the individual Service Plan, regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function.


• Must attend meetings for input and information about the individuals served and their progress and other required trainings as assigned.


• Will oversee the care provided to individuals with developmental disabilities.


• This position is responsible for the oversight of all Program Managers.


• Assisting with the employment process of direct care staff and training employees


• Managing and performing home visits


• Ensuring that the office operates in accordance with state, federal, and wavier guidelines


• Prepare and evaluate employee job performance, make recommendations regarding personnel action to management


• Assign staff duties, develop staff schedules, and coordinate staff leave time


• Performing data collection, periodic progress reports, and other documentation as stipulated by state governing bodies or by company management


• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborating with outside agencies.


• Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, individuals served, families, support coordinators and other agencies


• Monitor health and safety of individuals through oversight of the Community RN.


• Ensuring that all medical appointments are completed annually.


• Sharing on-call responsibilities and confer with consultant as necessary


• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.


• Must possess a bachelor’s degree.


• Must have at least 1 year of experience in the field of developmental disabilities.


• Must possess a valid driver license and acceptable driving record.


• Must have reliable transportation and vehicle insurance.


• Criminal background check with no history of disqualifying offenses


• Must maintain current Medication Aide Level 1 Certification


• Must maintain positive behavior support certification.


• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.


• Must have basic computer knowledge, and able to operate Windows 365.


• Must be able to operate basic office equipment, such as a copier, fax, printer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
