An outstanding company known for their culture and upward development is seeking a high level Director of Logistics for their growing Warehouse and Assembly facility in Union, OH. The Director of Logistics will lead and ensure the plant is manufacturing and distributing Legrand products in a timely, safe, and efficient manner to meet customer expectations. The Director of Logistics will have a continuous improvement mindset to drive goal attainment with operational needs, employee engagement, and financial metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistic, Business, Finance, Engineering or Supply Chain is required
- MBA is highly desirable
- 10+ years of distribution or logistics experience with a minimum of 5 years of managing other managers and supervisors.
- 3+ years of demonstrated excellent leadership and project management experience.
- Experience with design and layout of distribution facilities and best-in-class operations
- Knowledge of LEAN operating principles, Continuous improvement in a leadership role
- Proven ability to measure and perform against internal and external industry standards
- Experienced change agent possessing the strategic, analytical, and teamwork skills needed to drive major commercial decisions across a diverse set of stakeholders.
Main Job Duties:
Organization: Organizational Leader competency model
Main Interface: Warehouse and manufacturing personnel, contract labor vendors, site leaders, sales leaders, customer service and purchasing teams, and carrier contacts. Reports to Sr. Director of Logistics.
Budget: Direct management of $20M+ budget. Responsible for fiscal analysis and developing plans to manage costs.
