Role Summary
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for building and leading the organic marketing, brand activations, retention, and strategic partnerships functions. This role will drive customer acquisition, brand visibility, engagement, and customer lifetime value. The ideal candidate will be directly responsible for handling all tasks specifically for the Smard Art brand within the group.
Responsibilities
1. Organic Growth & Digital Strategy
Build and execute comprehensive organic growth strategies across SEO, content marketing, social media, and community channels.
Lead digital storytelling and brand content to drive engagement, authority, and trust.
Drive sustained traffic growth, conversion optimization, and efficient customer acquisition.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team.
Establish performance metrics and reporting frameworks to track growth and ROI.
2. Brand Strategy & Activations
Define, evolve, and protect Smard Art’s brand positioning, voice, and identity across all markets.
Conceptualize and execute high-impact brand campaigns, cultural activations, and product launches.
Lead experiential and community-driven marketing initiatives that create real-world and digital impact.
Ensure brand consistency and excellence across ecommerce, retail, partnerships, and media channels.
3. Retention & Lifecycle Marketing
Design and scale retention strategies including email, SMS, loyalty programs, and personalized customer journeys.
Improve customer lifetime value, repeat purchase rates, and engagement metrics.
Own CRM strategy, lifecycle automation, segmentation, and performance analytics.
Leverage customer data to continuously optimize user experience and conversion.
4. Strategic Partnerships & Collaborations
Identify, negotiate, and manage high-impact partnerships that drive brand reach, credibility, and revenue.
Build and scale influencer, affiliate, and brand collaboration programs.
Develop long-term partnerships with complementary brands, retailers, creators, and cultural platforms.
Represent Smard Art externally as a senior brand leader.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 3 years in senior leadership roles.Deep experience in organic growth, brand building, retention marketing, and strategic partnerships.
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and performance management skills.
Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and execution capabilities.
Strong track record of building, scaling, and leading high-performing teams.
Proven success in e-commerce marketing within high-growth digital brands.
