Primary Purpose:
The Director of Marketing is accountable for the strategy, performance, systems, and continuous improvement of Guidon's marketing function. The role leads brand strategy, market visibility, pursuit excellence, marketing technology, and organizational capability development while partnering with Market Leaders, Practice Leaders, Business Development, and Operations to advance firm growth objectives. The Director establishes the marketing frameworks, tools, resources, and standards that enable consistent brand stewardship, effective pursuits, meaningful client engagement, and scalable growth across all markets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications,
- Business, or related field.
- 12+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Experience developing and executing marketing strategies, brand initiatives, and growth programs.
- Experience managing CRM platforms, marketing technology, reporting, and analytics.
- Demonstrated success partnering with business leaders to support growth initiatives and pursuit success.
- A/E/C, professional services, or relationship-based B2B marketing experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy + Brand Leadership
- Develop and lead Guidon's annual marketing strategy, marketing plan, and budget.
- Establish and maintain brand positioning, messaging, visual standards, and storytelling frameworks.
- Increase market visibility and strengthen Guidon's reputation across target markets and industries.
- Lead market research, competitive analysis, and client insight initiatives to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure alignment between marketing efforts, market growth plans, and firmwide strategic priorities.
- Pursuit Excellence & Growth Enablement:
- Partner with Market Leaders, Business Development, and pursuit teams to improve pursuit strategy, differentiation, and win planning.
- Establish standards, tools, processes, and best practices supporting qualifications, proposals, interviews, and presentations.
- Maintain content libraries, project stories, resumes, case studies, and differentiators that support pursuit readiness.
- Develop organizational capabilities in strategic storytelling, client-focused communications, and interview preparation.
- Support strategic pursuits through market intelligence, messaging, thought leadership, and pursuit planning initiatives.
- Analyze pursuit outcomes and client feedback to improve positioning, messaging, and pursuit effectiveness.
- Marketing Systems & CRM:
- Own the strategy, governance, and effectiveness of Guidon's marketing technology and CRM systems.
- Establish data standards, reporting expectations, dashboards, and performance measures.
- Measure marketing's contribution to market visibility, client engagement, pursuit effectiveness, and business growth.
- Evaluate and improve marketing processes, workflows, and tools to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Leverage data and analytics to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop the Marketing Manager and marketing team through coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Establish clear priorities, accountability, and performance expectations.
- Build a proactive, strategic, and growth-oriented marketing culture.
- Identify future marketing capabilities, resources, and organizational structures needed to support firm growth.
- Foster collaboration across Marketing, Business Development, Operations, and Market Leadership teams.
