Description

Reporting to the VP of Nationwide Studios, the Director of Marketing will lead and oversee all of our company's marketing efforts from creative to operations. Nationwide Studios manages a portfolio of company's in the school photography and yearbook industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate across departments and company leaders to develop cohesive marketing initiatives that align with company objectives. As key leader of the marketing team, the Director of Marketing will develop year-long strategic plans, create and execute campaigns, manage budgets, analyze data, lead projects and staff and be a trailblazer within the marketing realm.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and have a proven track record in marketing and leadership training. This candidate should be able to traverse a wide range of marketing programs with ease and fluidity, project management software, SEO experience, social media experience, product development experience, communication experience all while providing guidance and mentorship across the department.

Responsibilities
Developing annual marketing strategy and plans
Creating and executing promotional campaigns
Manage the marketing budget
Oversee and lead marketing team members
Lead development of brand campaign and content strategy
Oversee development and creation of marketing assets
Oversee seasonal marketing go-to-market plans and with insight reporting to drive new programs and revenue
Ensuring and oversight of compliance with state and federal laws that govern products and programs our company's offer
Manage relationships with internal and external creative resources as well as marketing channel owners
Facilitate, build and oversee a field marketing council quarterly
Facilitate, build and oversee a consumer marketing council quarterly
Inspire new thinking and creative ways to establish our leadership position in the marketplace through creative communications and messaging
Leverage market research and consumer insights to inform new creative concepts, value propositions to drive new growth
Develop new products and programs that drive growth
Lead event management at state and national conferences that will drive growth while building our brand awareness
Revenue forecasting based on historical data and projected new marketing changes
Knowledge about industry trends
Leading SEO and Social Media tactics
Manage deadlines
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Key Skills and Experience Required:

5 years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, with specific experience in the photography or yearbook or educational industry
Knowledge of current marketing trends in the school traditions industry
A strategic and creative thinker with demonstrated success
Solid understanding of retail, ecommerce, and brand management
Proven track record in developing marketing plans
Experience in revenue forecasting based on product and program data
Experience in digital marketing/ecommerce
Experience in project management
Experience in social media marketing
Strong ability to analyze results of programs and derive actionable insights
Strong Microsoft excel skills
Experience leading and influencing teams
Success in leading a fast-paced, sales driven and entrepreneurial environment
Have a track record of developing new products and programs
Minimum Qualifications:

BS in Marketing or Business
Pro experience in Microsoft Office Suite
12+ years of marketing experience
Excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to travel 5-8 times a year for conferences, professional development and relationship management
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent public speaking record
5 years of marketing leadership experience
US Citizen with valid Drivers License

This role will be a senior level management role that comes with an aggressive salary based on experience and talent.
