Director of NSA (No Surprises Act) Strategy

About the Role
Green Light is seeking a strategic, experienced leader to guide the growth and execution of our No Surprises Act (NSA) services. As Director of NSA Strategy, you’ll focus on high-level planning, strategic development, and positioning to scale our NSA service offerings that are vastly outperforming the industry. You’ll partner closely with our Director of NSA Operations to build on what’s working, refine what’s not, and expand what’s possible.

We’re looking for someone with deep knowledge of NSA workflows, the Federal Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process and portal, and possess the leadership skills to turn insights into action.

What You’ll Do

• Lead strategy and roadmap for Green Light’s NSA workflow operations design, automation, and scalability.


• Collaborate closely with our Director of NSA Operations to evaluate, refine, and optimize workflows related to Open Negotiation and IDR processes.


• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Legal/ Compliance, IT, Sales/Marketing, HR, and Client Services.


• Drive growth initiatives and support hiring strategies for NSA-focused teams.


• Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to keep us ahead of the curve.


• Serve as a key advisor and contributor to company-wide initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years in healthcare operations, preferably with health plan or healthcare cost management leadership experience.


• Deep understanding of the No Surprises Act, with hands-on experience managing IDR strategy, submissions, and related timelines.


• Track record of leading strategic initiatives and scaling service offerings.


• Critical thinker with methodical, detail-oriented approach.


• Executive presence and collaborative mindset.


• Comfortable working in-office (Scottsdale, AZ preferred); limited travel may be required.
