Director of Nursing

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage nursing operations across the organization, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and policies.
• Develop and implement nursing practice standards and protocols to optimize patient care.
• Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff to promote professional growth and improve nursing competencies.
• Monitor nursing performance metrics and identify areas for quality improvement.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
• Manage nursing budgets and resource allocation to enhance operational efficiency.
• Advocate for the nursing profession and represent nursing interests at the executive level.

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field is required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• 5-7 years of nursing experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, quality improvement methodologies, and best practices in nursing.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with budgeting and financial management in a healthcare setting is preferred.
