Director of Nursing

The Grand Healthcare, a network of Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing facilities in Rochester, NY,  is seeking a Director of Nursing for their Waterview Heights location! 

• Please Note: this position is posted to develop a talent pipeline for immediate and future Nursing needs at various levels of experience.

Position Type: Full-Time
Core Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm (flexible hours available!)
Salary Range: $110,000.00/year - $150,000.00/year with benefits package

We are currently seeking a Director of Nursing for our Rochester, NY facility. As Director of Nursing, you will be a key member of our leadership team, overseeing nursing services and ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Quality Management: Oversee and maintain high standards of care across all nursing services to ensure a safe and supportive environment.


• 
  Compliance and Communication: Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards while fostering clear and effective communication among the nursing staff.


• 
  Resident Care Coordination: Assess and address the nursing needs of all residents, ensuring that personalized care plans are developed and followed.


• 
  Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated on nursing theory and practices, sharing this knowledge with the team to ensure the best possible care.


• 
  Medical Records Management: Ensure accurate and timely completion of all medical documentation and resident records.


• 
  Staff Recruitment and Training: Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and orientation of new nursing staff, ensuring they are well-prepared to provide exceptional care.


• 
  Flexible Scheduling: Adapt to the dynamic needs of the facility with a flexible work schedule that supports both staff and residents.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State RN license required.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care settings.


• Proven experience in training and developing clinical staff.


• 
  Strong communication skills and the ability to foster a collaborative, positive work environment.


• Demonstrated leadership abilities and prior supervisory experience.
