How you will make an impact: 

As the Director of Nursing at Mountain Vista, you'll manage a team of Nurses who oversee our caregiving teams as well as assist staff in day-to-day activities. You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of resident care via assessments, planning, intervention, evaluation, and developing care plans in collaboration with the residents, their families, and staff, while continuing to encourage residents to attain and maintain their highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Schedule:  This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, with availability for on-call.

What you will need: 

• Must be 21 years or older. 
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
• 3–5 years of nursing leadership experience required.
• 2+ years as a Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in gerontological nursing, with a strong background in rehabilitative and restorative clinical practices.
• Demonstrated strong critical thinking skills, sound independent judgment, and the ability to effectively multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to foster a positive attitude and maintain effective communication and collaboration with staff, residents, family members, and other stakeholders.
