Your Role as Director of Nursing

As the DON, you will be the clinical heartbeat of our facility—driving quality outcomes, mentorship, compliance, and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership & oversight of all nursing operations
• Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing nursing team
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Drive clinical excellence, quality measures, and positive survey outcomes
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding patient care
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and budget performance
• Lead initiatives that improve patient outcomes and staff engagement

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a confident leader who blends clinical expertise with emotional intelligence and operational savvy.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (CA)
• Proven experience as a Director of Nursing (or strong ADON ready to step up)
• Background in skilled nursing/post-acute care strongly preferred
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and survey readiness
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Passion for quality care and continuous improvement
