Are you an experienced RN who enjoys leading a nursing team and making a meaningful impact on resident care? We are looking for a Director of Nursing (DON) to provide clinical leadership and oversee nursing services at a skilled nursing facility in the Dresden, TN area.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on nursing leader who can support staff, maintain high standards of care, and help create a positive environment for both residents and employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and clinical direction to the nursing department
• Oversee daily nursing operations and resident care
• Support staffing, scheduling, and nursing department needs
• Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff
• Monitor clinical documentation, quality measures, and resident outcomes
• Promote compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in surveys, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Work closely with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Address clinical concerns and help develop effective solutions
• Promote a culture centered on safety, teamwork, and quality resident care

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
• Nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute care experience preferred
• DON, ADON, Nurse Manager, Unit Manager, or similar leadership experience is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead and support a diverse nursing team
• Commitment to quality care and resident well-being
