Director of Nursing - RN Hospice

• Oversee the nursing department, ensuring high standards of patient care are maintained.
  
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
  
• Manage nursing staff, including scheduling shifts and conducting performance evaluations.
  
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
  
• Conduct regular documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies.
  
• Provide leadership in promoting resident rights and fostering a respectful environment.
  
• Stay updated on best practices in nursing care, physiology knowledge, and regulatory requirements.
  
• Facilitate training programs for nursing staff to enhance skills in patient care and documentation
  

Requirements

• Registered Nurse licensed in state MO 
  
• Understanding and acceptance of hospice philosophy
  
• Minimum of 3 years in Healthcare Management, Hospice
  
• Computer proficiency and experience with hospice EMR systems
  
• Possess strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
  
• Must be of high integrity, including maintenance of confidential information including all personnel and patient records
