Noble Horizons, located in Salisbury Connecticut, is offering a rare opportunity in our Nursing Department. The position of Director of Nursing Services for our 65 bed Nursing Home is open.

Noble Horizons is a Senior Living Community situated on 110 bucolic acres nestled in the foothills of the Berkshire and Taconic Mountain ranges in the northwestern part of the state.

Noble has been recognized throughout Connecticut as one of the very nursing homes to not be affected by the Coronavirus throughout the height of the pandemic. None of our residents contracted the virus. This also holds true for all our Residential Care Home residents and for all the independent living cottage residents as well. Our highly effective infection control programs and extraordinary communication protocols were instrumental in our fight against the virus. Our unparalleled success continues to this day!

The successful DNS candidate will uphold our protocols and have a strong background in infection control practices, supporting a diligent and dedicated team of professionals committed to the highest levels of nursing care.

The Director of Nursing Services is responsible for the overall total nursing care of all residents in the facility. They exercise full authority over all nursing personnel and in the absence of the Administrator, for any prolonged length of time, assumes administrative responsibilities. They supervise all private duty personnel. They are also responsible for the execution of the Patient Care Policies

Responsibilities:
The planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating of nursing service in order to meet the total needs of the residents, and to maintain a quality of service that will fulfill all the objectives of the facility and in accord with the policies set forth by the facility's administration and governing body.
