Director of Operations – Arizona Home Care

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Salary and Compensation Package: $100,000–$140,000, based on experience and qualifications

About the Opportunity

AdvaCare Home Care is seeking an experienced, hands-on Director of Operations to lead and strengthen our growing non-medical home care operations throughout Arizona.

Our main office is located in Phoenix, and this position will be based there while regularly traveling to support our clients, caregivers, employees, and expanding service areas across the state.

This is more than an operational leadership position. Every staffing decision, process improvement, and problem solved directly affects someone’s ability to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own home. The Director of Operations will play an essential role in ensuring that vulnerable individuals and their families receive dependable, compassionate care when they need it most.

Key Responsibilities

  Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, caregiver staffing, client services, compliance, and quality assurance.

  Develop scalable systems, procedures, workflows, and performance standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain compliance with payer requirements, EVV, caregiver credentialing, and company policies.

  
  


• 
  

  Improve caregiver recruitment, onboarding, retention, and overall satisfaction.

  
  


• 
  

  Strengthen client satisfaction, communication, and service delivery.

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with executive leadership to support company growth and expansion.

  
  


• 
  

  Help open, develop, and oversee additional service areas throughout Arizona.

  
  


• 
  

  Travel throughout Arizona to support staff, clients, and agency operations.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Minimum of three to five years of high-level operational or management experience in skilled home health, non-medical home care, or a related healthcare setting.

  
  


• 
  

  Arizona home care experience and knowledge of AHCCCS/ALTCS are strongly preferred, although qualified candidates from other states will be considered.

  
  


• 
  

  Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, create systems, and manage a growing operation.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of scheduling, staffing, compliance, caregiver credentialing, and client services.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience successfully scaling operations or supporting multi-location growth is highly desirable.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and follow-through.
