Responsibilities/skills:
Directs and leads the execution of Operations functions and processes which includes but is not limited to the following: footprint assessments, building expansions, alternate materials exploration, manufacturing technology exploration, metrics setting, and the environmental carbon footprint.
Meets or exceeds financial, cost and quality initiatives while aligning strategically with organizational strategy and culture.
Responsible for effective planning, coordinating, and directing of manufacturing activities/initiatives including capacity and production planning, facilities management, manufacturing engineering support and scheduling.
Performs strategic resource allocation and applies effective manufacturing principles, leadership, sourcing and integration, production techniques and technologies for optimal efficiencies and adherence to best practice.
Partners with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and share best practices across locations and business units.
Supports the execution and evaluation of environmental sustainability initiatives and processes which includes greenhouse gas/climate change, waste reduction, chemical management, supplier environmental stewardship, water strategies, and sustainable materials, packaging, and products.
Drives and leads projects which includes but is not limited to warehouse centralization, footprint assessments, facilities expansions, and other special projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related required, Masters degree recommended
Demonstrated experience in establishing and operating profitable, leading edge, high quality, and efficient full scope operational functions in manufacturing environment while delivering exceptional quality and customer service throughout the processes.
Strong knowledge of Product Environmental Compliance (PEC) which includes Conflict minerals, Rohs, WEEE, REACH, SCIP, UKCA and other global PEC directives related responsibilities.
