Director of Operations - Commercial and Residential Roofing

Position Summary:

The Director of Operations oversees the strategic and day-to-day functions of all roofing operations, including commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities span production, project management, customer service, safety compliance, estimating, and overall job performance. The role drives operational excellence, margin improvement, and scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead production, and project teams.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget, and compliant job execution.
• Monitor job profitability and improve cost controls.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships.
• Resolve escalated customer complaints and warranty issues.
• Enforce quality control and jobsite safety protocols.
• Build and lead a high-performance operations team.
• Standardize workflows and enforce SOPs.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and executive leadership.

Requirements:
• 7+ years of roofing industry experience, including leadership roles.
• Deep understanding of Florida roofing code, safety, and licensing.
• Strong knowledge of both commercial and residential workflows.
• Experience with CRMs, estimating platforms, and scheduling tools.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.


• Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate computers, phones, and other
  office equipment.
  


• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds 


• Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.


• Occasional travel may be required for meetings, events, or site visits.


• Ability to move throughout office or event spaces, including standing or walking

Compensation Package:

• Annual Base Salary: $82,000
• Auto Allowance: $200 a week

Bonus Incentive Plan:

Bonuses are paid quarterly based on measurable marketing performance.

Eligibility begins after 90 days of employment.
