Director of Pre-Manufacturing will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless transition from product design to manufacturing. Director will oversee all aspects of pre-manufacturing processes, including but not limited to product design optimization, prototyping, material sourcing, and process engineering. Director expertise will be crucial in driving efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness throughout the pre-manufacturing phase.
Develop and implement strategic plans for pre-manufacturing activities in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team to include estimating, procurement, and logistics to ensure high performance and collaboration across all pre-manufacturing functions.
Work closely with finance and procurement teams to manage pre-manufacturing budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
Collaborate with the product design team to optimize designs for restructurability, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
