What will you be doing in your role?
You will lead and manage the Database Management, Finance, Project Management, and External Strategic Stakeholder teams, ensuring accountability (LMA).
You will implement TXOR’s strategic vision in collaboration with the Director of Programs and Evaluation, closely coordinating all activities across TXOR to ensure alignment and leverage the expertise and resources of the entire team.
You ensure TXOR’s financial systems operate efficiently to fund partners according to federal and sub-grant agreement requirements.
You ensure database and partnership management systems function effectively to produce accurate and comprehensive reports.
You will develop and oversee strategies to improve client pathways to services to coordinate resources, enhance relationships with stakeholders in key public sectors, and facilitate consultations with partners and sponsors.
You oversee special initiatives by the project management team, with an emphasis on administrative oversight of the TXOR Austin office.
You will direct the coordination of different strategies to improve client pathways to services.
You identify opportunities to improve systems and processes across TXOR initiatives to continuously improve and streamline efforts for maximum impact, including budgeting and financial forecasting, the sub-grant agreement process, partnership vetting and procurement, external coordination strategies, and project management.
You will evaluate and regularly advance TXOR operational tools to ensure user access and efficiency, including SharePoint, Salesforce, ClientTrack, the TXOR website, and the partner portal, in coordination with the Associate Director of Database Management.
You will evaluate priority projects and updates from operational teams to TXOR leadership for consultation and synchronization with the State Refugee Coordinator and Director of Programs and Evaluation.
You will guide thoughtful and tactical conversations about the impact of operations on the execution of TXOR’s vision.
You consistently and comprehensively communicate updates from the Programs and Evaluation team across the Operations team, to facilitate intentional collaboration and eliminate unnecessary duplication of effort.
You integrate all operational strategies to regularly identify opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and prioritization.
Are you the next Director of Operations?
Master’s Degree or 10+ years of relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading a team
Familiarity with refugee populations and programs preferred
Ability to travel to quarterly strategic meetings across the state, visits to TXOR Austin Office, and quarterly consultation meetings (at minimum).
Experience in project management systems preferred.
Strong communication and team-building skills
