Location: Berkeley, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $300,000–$310,000 annually

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Director of Pediatric Services to provide vision and leadership for a busy pediatrics department serving underserved children and families. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, this physician leader will align clinical practice, team performance, and department strategy with the needs of the community.

Responsibilities:

• Direct day-to-day clinical operations and supervise pediatric providers and staff
• Set clear clinical standards, protocols, and outcome goals
• Lead quality and safety initiatives across the department
• Build strong relationships with families and community partners to address health disparities
• Support alignment of pediatric services with organizational mission and long-term plans

• Active California medical license without disciplinary history
• Board-certified in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or Medicine/Pediatrics
• Current DEA and BLS certifications
• Minimum 7 years of ambulatory pediatric experience, including leadership responsibilities
• Experience in community-based or FQHC environments and working closely with the Black community
