Location: Oakland, CA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $165,000 – $185,000 annually, depending on experience

Position Summary:
We are hiring a Director of Pharmacy to lead and oversee pharmacy operations at a reputable healthcare facility in Oakland, CA, CA. This full-time leadership role is responsible for managing clinical and administrative functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing medication use, and supporting high-quality patient care initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct daily operations of the pharmacy department, including staff management, workflow optimization, and budget oversight
• Develop, implement, and monitor pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Oversee quality improvement programs, formulary management, and cost-containment strategies
• Ensure accurate preparation and dispensing of medications, and uphold all standards related to storage and recordkeeping
• Provide mentorship and training to pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff
• Participate in strategic planning and contribute to organizational goals

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
• Current California pharmacist license in good standing
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards, pharmacy operations, and clinical best practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Competitive annual salary between $165,000 and $185,000, commensurate with experience
