Location: Albany, CA
Schedule:
• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Compensation: $187,200 – $208,000 based on qualifications

Position Summary
This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient workflow, compliance with all laws, and alignment with organizational goals. The Director will manage both the clinical and administrative aspects of pharmacy services and work closely with other departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise pharmacy staff and coordinate clinical functions
  • Ensure legal compliance in all pharmacy operations
  • Direct budget planning and monitor pharmacy expenditures
  • Participate in organizational policy creation and strategic initiatives
  • Serve as the clinical resource for medication use, safety, and education
  • Ensure inventory levels support uninterrupted patient care
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal departments
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited institution
  • Licensed Pharmacist in California
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical pharmacy experience
  • Experience with 340B program required
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity preferred
  • Strong understanding of Medi-Cal formulary and outpatient pharmacy operations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
