Location: Alameda, CA
Schedule:
• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Compensation: $187,200 – $208,000 annually

Position Summary
The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for managing a high-performing pharmacy department within a clinical care environment. This includes leading daily operations, staff management, strategic planning, and regulatory adherence. The position also plays a critical role in cost control and optimizing medication services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor all pharmacy operations
• Oversee the hiring, training, and performance of pharmacy personnel
• Coordinate closely with clinical teams to support integrated care
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including 340B
• Manage medication inventory and procurement systems
• Maintain and review records for accuracy and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy budget and vendor negotiations
• Participate in safety, emergency, and leadership programs

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited institution
• Licensed Pharmacist in California
• Minimum 5 years of clinical pharmacy experience
• Experience with 340B program required
• At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity preferred
• Strong understanding of Medi-Cal formulary and outpatient pharmacy operations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
