Director of Pharmacy Modesto, CA
Compensation: $180,000 $200,000 annually
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (paid out over 2 years)

An exceptional opportunity is available for a proven pharmacy leader to step into a Director of Pharmacy role at a respected 50-bed hospital in Modesto, CA. This is a working director position, offering the chance to both practice as a Pharmacist and lead a dedicated team, while also serving as a key member of the hospitals Senior Leadership Team.

Position Highlights

• Reports directly to the CEO and serves on the Senior Leadership Team
• Hands-on Director role combining leadership with active pharmacist responsibilities
• Monday-Friday schedule: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend coverage support
• Pharmacy utilizes Pyxis dispensing system
• Staffing Model:
• 2 Full-time Pharmacists + 1 Pharmacy Tech (Monday-Thursday)
• 1 Pharmacist + 1 Tech (Friday)
• PRN Pharmacist support on Saturday

Candidate Profile

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor a small, collaborative pharmacy team
• In-depth knowledge and working familiarity with California Pharmacy Laws
• Proven success balancing clinical responsibilities with operational leadership
