AdvisaCare, a leading provider of home health care services, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Physical Therapy to join our team. As the Director of Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the physical therapy department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to a team of physical therapists, ensuring that they have the resources and training necessary to provide exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the physical therapy department.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of physical therapists, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure effective treatment plans.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy programs and make recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy practices and implement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain accurate records.

• Master’s degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Michigan.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to physical therapy services.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in the field when needed
