Standards of Leadership
All MC Prep leaders, faculty and staff must abide by the leadership standards of Mercy Culture Church:
DAILY ENCOUNTERS. There is only one way to God, and it’s through Jesus — but in Jesus, there are many ways to connect with God. We disciple people by helping them discover how they best connect with God and by teaching them to access the presence of God on a daily basis.
SOUND MIND.We are all led by something, we choose to be led by the Holy Spirit. We have the mind of Christ by submitting our thoughts, will, and emotions daily to the Lord.
SERVANTHOOD. We come to serve, not to be served. With zeal we minister to the Lord by serving His people and His school both in the seen and unseen. We believe serving is the highest form of leadership.
UNITY. The favor of God is found in unity. Our desire is to be in perfect unity with the Holy Spirit, which brings us into unity with one another. When we lead through our values, we stay in unity. We understand that unity pleases the Lord.
JOY. We choose joy; regardless of our circumstances. In adversity, we know the joy of the Lord is our strength.
