Your Role 

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and strategic leader to build our Professional Engineering Services organization. You will be responsible for growing a team from the ground up that delivers high-value projects to our customers while driving revenue and profitability for the business. This role requires a strong technical leader who can shape and improve technical architecture, recruit strong engineering talent, and transform existing processes to support a global customer base. 

In addition to leading customer-facing engineering initiatives, you will build and scale a function responsible for delivering critical data tasks to customers. You will drive process transformation and establish a globally scalable model. Success in this role will depend on your ability to improve efficiency while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.

You’ll Likely Spend Time Working On 

• Building a Professional Engineering Services Team: Hiring and developing engineers who can deliver high-quality customer projects. 


• Customer Engagement & Value Delivery: Acting as a strategic technical advisor to customers, understanding their business challenges, and delivering solutions that drive measurable value. 


• Technical Architecture & Process Engineering: Influencing and improving technical architectures across software, data, and process engineering domains to ensure scalable and efficient solutions. 


• Revenue Growth & Profitability: Defining and executing strategies that drive both customer satisfaction and business profitability through professional services. 


• Managing & Transforming Data Operations: Leading the evolution of an existing data operations team by implementing scalable, automated, and efficient processes that support global customer needs. 


• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partnering with product, sales, and customer success teams to enhance service offerings and align professional services with overall business objectives. 


• Global Expansion & Scaling: Transitioning the existing Pacific Time-based data operations team into a globally distributed, high-impact function. 

You’ll Thrive in This Role with Experience In 

• Professional Services Leadership: Proven ability to build, manage, and scale a high-performing professional engineering services organization. 


• Technical Expertise: Strong background in software engineering, data engineering, or process automation with experience in modern architectures, cloud technologies, and data products. 


• Entrepreneurial Mindset: A passion for building something new, solving complex challenges, and identifying opportunities for innovation and growth. 


• Customer-Facing Leadership: Experience working directly with customers to define, deliver, and optimize technical solutions. 


• Business Growth & Profitability: Understanding of professional services business models, including how to drive customer value and increase revenue. 


• Process Transformation & Automation: Experience in scaling operational teams and driving efficiency through process improvement and automation.
