Director of Project Operations

Description: 

The Director of Project Operations is overall in charge of company-wide project sales and orders from cradle to grave. 

The responsibility of project sales includes, but is not limited to, generating and tracking leads, ensuring customers receive timely quotes, and following up with partners and customers to ensure their needs and requirements are met during the sales process. 

Managing project orders post-sale will require continuous coordination with ProPump’s management & admin team, vendors, partners, and customers until the project is complete. 

Additionally, they will be responsible for handling and maintaining relationships with irrigation consultants, irrigation contractors, management companies, and other partners critical to our business. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Work with the Managers, Accounting, and the Supply Chain Group to have a standardized process for handling projects company-wide. 
• Work with vendors and the ProPump Management team to prioritize orders and projects.
• Communicate project status, issues, and updates to all stakeholders
• Communicate with vendors, management groups, irrigation consultants, irrigation contractors, ProPump Management team, and Wesco sales team to find and follow up on sales leads 
• Manage the procurement of goods and services needed for projects
• Maintain a company-wide tracker of potential project sales 
• Maintain a company-wide tracker of all larger orders
• Track why we win a project and why we lose a project 
• Maintain and build relationships with critical partners in our industry 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
• 5 years of experience in project management and/or operational leadership
• Pump Station industry experience strongly preferred
