About the Role:
A growing real estate company is hiring a Director of Property Management to own day-to-day operations across a portfolio of roughly 3,000 units, including brand-new properties. The Director leads a team of 3–4 Property Managers and is accountable for keeping every building running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities aren't boxed in, so this person helps shape the full property management operation.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Operations

• Oversee day-to-day operations across a portfolio of approximately 3,000 units


• Keep all properties running smoothly and efficiently


• Take ownership of operations across both established and brand-new properties

Team Leadership

• Manage and oversee a team of 3–4 Property Managers


• Stay accountable for the performance of the properties each manager runs

Department Ownership

• Play a key role in overseeing the full property management operation


• Take on responsibilities across the department as the role grows

Qualifications

• Strong NYC property management experience


• Solid understanding of the NYC market


• Ability to take ownership of operations at scale
