Director of Quality Improvement & Risk Management

The Director of Quality and Risk will be responsible for leading quality initiatives across the hospital. The director will track, trend and action plan quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care aspects and hospital processes. The director also leads the hospital in risk mitigation efforts to ensure patient safety. The director ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies including but not limited to TJC, CMS and CDPH.

Minimum Education:

Bachelors in related field.

MBA preferred.

RN license preferred.

Minimum Work Experience

Minimum Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in health care related field. Certified Professional in Health Care Quality preferred. Specific experience and knowledge in the areas of quality improvement, risk management, infection control, and mental health are preferred. Knowledge of psychiatric service delivery system and treatment methods, strong oral and written communication skills current knowledge of continuous quality improvement methodology; organization and time management skills; skills in data collection, analysis, evaluation and interpretation; knowledge of applicable standards and regulations; problem solving skills, teaching /training skills.
