Job Description - Director of Recruitment and Onboarding

Director of Recruitment and Onboarding

Up to $100,000/year

Full time, Mercer County NJ

Who We Need:

We are seeking a Director of Recruitment and Onboarding who has excellent customer service and communication skills. The Director of Recruitment and Onboarding will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of the Agency's recruitment and onboarding programs. The ideal candidate will be a hands on manager who has a deep understanding of recruitment strategies and "out-of-the-box" recruitment techniques.

What We Need:

Talent Acquisition:

Recruit for all Agency positions, canvassing both active and passive candidates.

Manage full life cycle recruitment, (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, offer, onboarding, etc.)

Complete hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time to start.

Onboarding Compliance:

Develop and implement onboarding compliance programs to adhere to the Agency's regulations.

Lead the Agency as it pertains to HR onboarding documents through annual licensing.

Ensure timely completion of Agency's onboarding schedule.

Strategic Development of recruitment methods:

Develop appropriate marketing strategies.

Develop and implement creative, innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified applicants.

Stay up to date on new and innovative recruitment methods and strategies.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

Lead, mentor and develop a team of recruitment professionals.

Collaborate with hiring managers to identify vacancies within each department.

What You Need:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 7 years of broad HR experience with a focus on recruiting and with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

Experience in working with an applicant tracking system.

Experience in all areas of sourcing, such as the internet, reverse search, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting job fairs.

Experience working with a non-profit Agency a plus.

Experience working with HRIS systems.

Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

HR Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
