We are supporting a confidential search for a high-growth consumer brand seeking a Director of Retail Media & Commerce to build and lead its retail media capability as the business expands across major ecommerce, marketplace, and retail channels.

Position Summary

• Own a $10M+ and rapidly growing retail media budget
• Build the company's retail media strategy, operating model, measurement framework, and annual planning process
• Connect media investment to revenue growth, contribution margin, customer acquisition, and market-share objectives
• Lead strategy across major retail and marketplace media platforms
• Partner with Ecommerce, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to align media with inventory, promotions, pricing, and commercial priorities
• Establish executive reporting and measurement standards around incrementality, attribution, ROAS, new-to-brand acquisition, and profitability
• Evaluate technology, agency relationships, and opportunities to bring capabilities in-house as the organization scales

Skills/Requirements

• 8–12 years of relevant experience across retail media, ecommerce, performance marketing, shopper marketing, or digital commerce
• Significant hands-on experience with Amazon Ads plus additional major retail media networks
• Demonstrated ownership of multimillion-dollar media budgets
• Track record of producing measurable improvements in revenue, ROAS, customer acquisition, market share, or profitability
• Strong understanding of marketplace economics and the relationship between media, inventory, pricing, promotion, and margin
• Experience building or significantly transforming a retail media capability
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in a high-growth environment
• Consumer products experience strongly preferred
