Job Description: Bollin Label Systems is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and experienced Sales Manager to join the team in Toledo, Ohio. The successful candidate will lead an experienced sales team and direct all sales activities. The ideal candidate will have proven B2B sales and sales leadership, demonstrating the ability to lead from the front and coach their team to success. Additionally, the candidate should possess a strong proactive mindset towards identifying and pursuing new business opportunities independently. The candidate must also have excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and decision making skills.
Responsibilities: The candidate must:
Manage all sales activities to achieve revenue growth by planning and overseeing sales strategy, forecasting, tracking sales team performance, creating training plans, and analyzing sales statistics
Develop and maintain business relationships with prospective and existing customers through collaboration, prospecting, and closing sales with the team
Train, coach, and counsel sales team to ensure success through goal-driven leadership, observation, team selling, and two-way communication
Monitor weekly sales activity, key accounts, and review all expense reports to ensure accuracy
Work closely with the executive team and other internal departments by representing the sales team, contributing to the company strategy, and reporting all sales activity and results
Prepare sales budgets, forecasts, sales expenditures, and pricing/quoting to meet sales objectives
Research and identify business opportunities through work with internal associates, industry publications, online sources, and client and vendor networking
Requirements
Requirements: The candidate should:
Have 5+ years' B2B sales experience with a proven record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships; knowledge of the print and/or food and beverage industry helpful
Hold a bachelor's degree or have comparable work experience
Have a proven track record of B2B sales/account management and the ability to identify opportunities, develop solutions, develop relationships, and deliver results
Demonstrate the proven ability to lead, support, and motivate an aggressive sales team
Demonstrate past success in recruiting and retaining a high performance sales team with the ability to professionally develop and coach team members
Possess strong persuasion and negotiation skills with the ability to use a consultative approach to close sales
Demonstrate a proficiency in cross-selling product lines and ability to identify and develop new client and market opportunities
Have a strong customer focus and be passionate about building long-term business relationships
Have outstanding multi-tasking, problem solving, and decision making skills with the ability to complete difficult assignments independently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Possess strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, organizational, and follow-through skills
Have computer proficiency, preferably in Microsoft Office programs and CRM
