OP2 Labs, a leading consumer goods company, is seeking a highly experienced Director of Sales to join our team. As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and managing our sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. You will play a critical role in developing and executing our sales strategy, as well as building and nurturing relationships with key clients and partners.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a retail and medical sales strategy to achieve revenue growth and meet sales targets
Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, including negotiating contracts and resolving any issues or concerns
Identify new business opportunities and oversee the development and execution of sales plans and initiatives
Analyze sales data and market trends to develop sales forecasts and strategic recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, IT and operations to ensure alignment and execution of sales strategies
Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on sales performance and market trends
Plan and develop sales budgets
Plan and develop sales team compensation and commission plans
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience in medical sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
Prior experience in a sales leadership role with documented success managing and developing a sales team
Ability to forecast, plan and budget for a growing sales organization
Experience working with distributors
Strong understanding of the consumer goods industry, preferably with experience in selling into medical facillities
Extensive knowledge of sales strategies and techniques, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales plans
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners
Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make strategic recommendations
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong technical acumen preferred
