Germitec is a high-tech medical device company established in France in 2005. The Company has developed UV-C technology for High Level Disinfection (HLD) for ultrasound probes. Since Germitec’s creation, it has sold 1000’s of systems to hospitals, and its products have been approved by Public Health England, NHS Scotland, Health Canada, as well as laboratories and scientific centers in France, Germany, and Australia. In 2020, Germitec won the prestigious Prix Galien award in France for the best medical device. Recently, the Company has received approval from the FDA (De Novo 510K) to market its products in the US.

Why You Should Join Us

This is a builder role. Germitec is standing up a dedicated West territory for the first time, mirroring the East region the company built out in the prior expansion. You will inherit an active pipeline and 2 direct reports, with the mandate to grow the team over the next several quarters.

What You’ll Do

As Director of Sales, Western US, you will:

• Own the sales results for all territory west of the Mississippi River, covering hospitals, health systems, and private practices.


• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Regional/Territory Managers (starting with 2 direct reports, scaling to 4–6 as the region builds out).


• Build and execute the Western territory plan, including rep alignment, account coverage, and hiring recommendations, in coordination with the US President.


• Recruit, interview, and onboard additional sales reps as the region expands to its planned 5-territory structure.


• Coach reps on deal strategy and pipeline balance, ensuring a healthy mix of smaller, faster-closing opportunities alongside larger capital deals.


• Partner with sales leadership on proposal strategy, pricing guidance, and deal review for strategic accounts.


• Report regularly on territory performance, pipeline health, competitive activity, and market dynamics to company leadership and the board.


• Represent Germitec at trade shows and industry events across the Western region.


• Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM discipline across the team.

What You’ll Need

• Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience.


• Proven sales leadership experience managing a team of 3+ reps with a demonstrated track record of hitting or exceeding team quota.


• Background in capital equipment sales within a USA healthcare B2B environment (hospitals, health systems); infection prevention experience is a plus but not required.


• Based west of the Mississippi River in a major metro area (e.g., Texas, California, Colorado, Pacific Northwest); willingness to travel across the territory.


• Demonstrated capability in relationship management with multiple stakeholders and strategic accounts.


• Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills.


• Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to recruit, coach, and retain top sales talent.

Perks of the Job

Compensation:

• Base: ~$175,000 (commensurate with experience)


• Total Comp: $300,000 –$350,000, uncapped
