Director of Spa

The Peninsula Beverly Hills is seeking a dynamic, commercially minded and experienced Director of Spa & Wellbeing to leard the next chapter of our Spa. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and entrepeneurial leader to rethink the traditional hotel spa experience and develop a distinctive destination for beauty, vitality, recovery and wellbeing.

Key Accountabilities

•    Develop and implement a comprehensive buiness plan to reposition the Spa and drive long-term growth.
•    Lead all aspects of Spa operations, financial performance, budgeting and profitability.
•    Identify new revenue opportunities across treatments, retail, memberships, partnerships and private events.
•    Evolve the treatment menu, introducing relevant services, products and innovations.
•    Build a strong retail business through product selection, merchandising and sales strategy. 
•    Develop relationships with leading brands, industry experts and the local community.
•    Collaborate with Marketing to strengthen the Spa's identity, visibility and customer acquisition.
•    Create engaging programming and experiences that extend beyond traditional spa services.
 

General Requirements

•    Proven leadership experience in a premium spa, beauty, wellbeing or hospitality environment
•    A strong track record of revenue growth, profitability and business development
•    An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to turn new ideas into commerically successful initiatives 
•    Knowledge of emerging trends, brands, treatments and technologies within the beauty and wellbeing market
•    Experience in retail development, partnershiprs, memberships or experiential programming   
•    Strong financial, operational, and organizational skills
•    An understanding of the Los Angeles market and the ability to build meaninful local relationships 
•    A collaborative leadership style, high standards and a genuine commitment to people and service
