  • Position Yesway as a preferred buyer of independent convenience stores known for speed, credibility, and certainty of close.

  • Maintain high visibility in the market through calls, meetings, site visits, and industry events.

Pipeline Development

  • Identify stores and small groups of stores that meet Yesway’s acquisition criteria and geographic strategy.

  • Qualify opportunities quickly and advance viable deals into a contract.

Transaction Execution

  • Lead pricing discussions, deal structuring, and commercial negotiations with sellers and brokers.

  • Drive transactions through closing by maintaining deal momentum and resolving issues.

  • Partner with internal underwriting, legal, and diligence teams to execute transactions efficiently.

  • Set deal priorities and timelines to ensure disciplined and efficient execution.

Market Intelligence Strategy

  • Provide real-time market feedback on pricing, competition, and deal structures.

  • Advise ownership on target markets, expansion strategy, and capital deployment opportunities.

  • Identify broker coverage gaps and new channels for sourcing acquisitions.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Maintain clear communication with ownership regarding pipeline activity, sourcing efforts, and expected closings.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in convenience store acquisitions, brokerage, or principal investing.

  • Demonstrated success in sourcing and closing transactions directly with independent store owners.

  • Established network of regional C-store brokers and industry relationships.

  • Proven ability to independently originate, negotiate, and close deals.

  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
