Job Description - Director of Strategic Growth - Energetic Workplace

We are looking for a resourceful Director of Strategic Growth to join our elite team at Market Mentors in Springfield, MA.

Salary: base starting at $75,000 plus bonus

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our marketing agency as the Director of Strategic Growth. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing new business opportunities and driving sales growth and revenue for the agency. Your primary objective will be to win appointments with potential clients and convert them into long-term partnerships.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: the ability to lead and motivate a sales team, set clear goals, provide guidance and support
  • Prospect & Generate Leads: Identify clients through various channels, using innovative tactics as needed.
  • Client Engagement: Schedule appointments, assess needs, and present tailored solutions.
  • Sales Expertise: Utilize strong sales acumen to negotiate and close deals effectively.
  • Pipeline Management: Track sales activities, manage CRM, and maintain accurate records.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, adapt strategies, and meet sales targets consistently.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales, preferably in the marketing or advertising industry.
  • 5+ years in a sales or business development role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities, with a focus on consultative selling.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex marketing concepts and solutions.
  • Strategic planning experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales pipeline management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
