Director Of Surgery Services

Position Summary:

Assures the delivery of patient care with the skills of an experienced Registered Nurse. Position responsibilities include ensuring continuity of patient care, serving as a resource for subordinate staff, facilitating problem solving, assisting with Quality Improvement Activities, staff education and assuring compliance with established policies and procedures and other duties as assigned.

Must-Haves:

• Graduate of a Program in Nursing at Bachelors of Science level or higher required

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association required upon hire

• Arizona Registered Nurse and/or Compact State Registered Nurse required

• Minimum of 2 years as director of Surgical Services in a critical care hospital required

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) American Heart Association required upon hire

Nice-To-Haves:

• Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) preferred

• Master's degree preferred

• 5 years in Surgical Services leadership or leadership in critical care hospital upper management

• Moderate Sedation Certification preferred
