Director of Surgical Services

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Surgical Services to lead our surgical department in Mayfield, Kentucky. In this key leadership role, you will oversee the strategic and day-to-day operations of our surgical services, ensuring clinical excellence, patient safety, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage surgical services, including operating rooms, sterile processing, and perioperative services.
• Lead, mentor, and develop clinical staff to maintain the highest standards of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and hospital administration on strategic initiatives.
• Oversee compliance with regulatory guidelines and hospital policies.
• Drive performance improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction, and safety outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience in surgical services leadership
• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kentucky
• Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience in surgical or perioperative services

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire
