5+ years of tax experience

Provisions experience with consolidated federal returns

Public Accounting experience, along with private experience

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance

CPA (strongly preferred/not required)What You'll Be Doing:

Lead and manage the tax provision process, including gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing tax calculations, and ensuring compliance with state and federal tax laws and regulations.

Oversee the preparation and review of all tax-related schedules, work papers, and disclosures for state and federal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate the impact of such changes on our organization's tax provision and reporting.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as accounting, finance, and legal, to gather necessary information for tax provision and to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities, potential risks, and optimize our organization's tax position.

Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities, ensuring compliance with tax audits and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Develop and implement tax policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within the tax function.

Participate in strategic tax planning initiatives and provide insights on the potential tax implications of business decisions.

Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned
