Director of Telemetry -Spring Hill

• Bachelor's degree in nursing 

   

• Five (5) years nursing experience at an Acute Care setting in area of practice; with two (2) of the years in a leadership position. 
• Basic Life Support through American Red Cross or American Heart Association 
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support 
• NIHSS

Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Interaction with the public and medical/nursing personnel, making decisions under pressure, handling multiple priorities, and managing stress appropriately.

The Director of Telemetry holds 24-hour accountability for leading, planning, and evaluating nursing care delivery within the telemetry unit, collaborating closely with staff, physicians, and patients to achieve high-quality outcomes. This role involves implementing strategies to reduce hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) and conditions (HACs), actively participating in initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction, and ensuring departmental alignment with regulatory and organizational standards. The Director is responsible for operational and budgetary oversight, staff development, and fostering a collaborative, patient-centered environment that supports continuous improvement in clinical care and patient safety.
