Foothills Retirement Community  is seeking a compassionate, dynamic, and experienced Director of Wellness to lead and oversee the wellness programming and healthcare services in our Continuing Care Retirement Community. The ideal candidate will ensure the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of residents across all levels of care—independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing. 

What You'll Do:

• Responsible to assess and periodically reassess residents on standardized fitness tools; 
• Ensure that changes in resident wellness and fitness plan are implemented, complete appropriate forms, records and/or reports
• Develop, plan, implement, and direct overall wellness and fitness program including land and aquatic based exercises for both individuals and groups of residents

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or a related field
• 3 Years of experience in a fitness related field
• Valid SC Driver’s License
