Director of Women and Family Center

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Women and Family Center, including Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and nursing standards.
• Support, mentor, and manage clinical staff, including RNs, LPNs, and other healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Develop and manage budgets, staffing plans, and department goals.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and safety.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa or an active compact license allowing practice in Iowa.
• BLS certification is required at the time of hire.
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certification for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse is required upon hire.
• Previous leadership experience in women's health, OB/GYN, family care, or a related specialty is preferred.
