Eaton Corporation is looking for a Director Operational Excellence (OpEx). This position can be located at any Eaton hub or be fully remote.\n\n## Position Overview:\n\nReporting to the Sr VP/GM for Electrical Engineering Services \u0026 Systems (EES\u0026S), the Director will be a key member of the EES\u0026S senior leadership team. The Director OpEx will be responsible for leading the execution and deployment of Continuous Improvement, Quality, and Supply Chain initiatives for the entire division. This person will directly manage other functional managers (Quality, Supply Chain, Digital Operations) within the division. The Director will also champion the deployment of the Eaton Business System (EBS) for EES\u0026S to define core processes, tools, and measures to drive performance and continuous learning.\n\nEssential Functions: \n\u2022 Responsible for leading the execution and deployment of Continuous Improvement, Quality and Supply Chain initiatives across the division and the rest of the Electrical Sector \n\u2022 Provide leadership in executing the organization\u2019s strategic plan in relation to operational excellence consistent with industry, Eaton and customer requirements. \n\u2022 Further enhance the use of systems/process improvements in relation to Eaton\u2019s EBS \u2013 Eaton Business System, EBE \u2013 Electrical Business Excellence, ELSS \u2013 Eaton Lean Six Sigma, and audits/assessments. \n\u2022 Promote customer-focused culture; through data and feedback throughout the division while partnering with the division\u2019s leadership team. \n\u2022 Provides training, instruction and guidance to division leaders; remain knowledgeable in related industry best practices. \n\u2022 Comprehensive understanding of EBE criteria and its linkage to the Eaton Business System to drive improvements across the organization. \n\u2022 Mentor employees and help build Quality / OpEx and Supply Chain role bench strength. \n\u2022 Develop, implement and track division continuous improvement projects focused on cost out through enhanced efficiency, consolidation of resources, waste reduction, etc. \n\u2022 Establish cost-out targets to be included in Profit Plan.\n\n## Required Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Minimum 10 years of operations experience in a Continuous Improvement or OpEx role. Supporting Quality and Supply Chain functions is preferred. \n\u2022 Minimum of 7 years managing cross functional large scale projects \n\u2022 Minimum of 7 years leading high performing teams leading to measurable outcomes. \n\u2022 Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.\n\nEaton Leadership Attributes: \n\u2022 Effectively drives and manages change, challenges the status quo and champions new and innovative ideas. \n\u2022 Demonstrates professional presence, communicates articulately and confidently. \n\u2022 Strong experience working within matrixed organizations and/or with corporate COE structures. \n\u2022 Proven ability to drive strategy, execution, and measurable business results across multiple teams or business units. \n\u2022 Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills. \n\u2022 Demonstrated success in effectively and confidently providing \u201cleadership\u201d to employees in a constantly changing environment.\n\nEducation: \n\u2022 An undergraduate degree is required. A Master\u2019s degree is preferred.\n\nCompensation: \n\u2022 Eaton recognizes this role as a critical position within the corporation and will create a compelling package consisting of a base salary, employee incentive compensation and complete benefits.\n\nLocation: \n\u2022 This position can be located at any Eaton hub or be fully remote.\n\nAt Eaton, we strive to provide compensation and benefits that attract, engage, and retain the best talent.
