Summary
Exercises overall supervision of the department. Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and disciplines the employees according to the general personnel policies of the hospital. Will identify, study, and assist in resolving problems relating to the department. Manages staff assigned to the department. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program (US, NM, MRI, or XRAY) PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years technical experience and/or 2 years at a management level. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent depending on specialty. If employee holds an accreditation such as ARRT in ionizing radiation, then they must maintain a current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license. REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network. Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
