Description
Director Rehabilitation Learning Needed for Spaulding Hospital
The Director will lead all aspects of work of the HealthStream Operations Manager as well as lead all aspects of Spaulding Rehab compliance with annual required training. Ensures compliance with Mass General Brigham policy re: annual required training and facilitates virtual education activities for Spaulding Rehab. The Director will provide knowledge sharing through live virtual presentations.
**HealthStream / Virtual Learning Management Systems Team:**

Facilitates virtual education activities for SRN and knowledge sharing through live virtual presentations.

Leads the SRN Education and Training SharePoint Communications Site.

E-learning solutions are led including oversight of design, development, and implementation to support initial and ongoing required, continuing and certification education.

Authored learning modules reflect accepted performance technology practices, instructional design strategies, human factor principles and adult learning principles.

Partnership established and maintained with SRN Information Technology to integrate learning management system information and required data to meet the needs of SRN,

Liaison services provided with HealthStream and other vendors to handle content to meet SRN objectives.

Learning policies and procedures are implemented and compliance monitored across SRN.

Education and Professional Development for Departments under the SR COO and CEO:
Completes regular needs assessment for development and training.

Under the direction of the executive leadership team, triages ad hoc requests for training initiatives and customized programs.

Engages with non-nursing clinical and non-clinical professional fields to ensure communication of training and development opportunities.

Engages with support services, clerical, and other non-licensed entry staff

Supports staff to schedule and enroll in training opportunities.

Handles a budget and logistics for interprofessional offerings.

Mentors and leads interprofessional lectures, courses, trainings, seminars, and series.

Facilitates the support and sharing of SRN interprofessional live and virtual presentations and activities.

Supports interprofessional education.

Facilitates the attainment of interprofessional continuous education units through the MGH IHP Joint Accreditation Program, ASHA, APTA, AOTA, and other accrediting bodies as indicated.

Handles ED&R - Cultural Humility and Structural Racism Education.

Responsible for tracking and reporting metrics related to the use of tuition, training cost and fees, enrollment, learning and performance outcomes of training and development programs.

Clinical Partnerships and Affiliations
SNHU/CCoN/Excelsior Thirds Program [sunset to new applicants, will usher completion of requirements and obligations for the existing cohort]

Laboure Partnership for Seacole Scholars [sunset to new applicants, will usher completion of requirements and obligations for the existing cohort]

Faciliates shared use of tuition vouchers given to SRN for student training [MGH IHP (voucher program concludes for MGH IHP 6/2024); Northeastern University, Boston University, and Tufts University]

SRN/IHP Clinical Scholars Program
Promotes a clinician scientist culture of practice.

Mentors extramural projects from submission to presentation.

Arranges individual and small group project facilitation as well as project mentors and supportive resources through IHP and SRN.

Holds annual presentation/celebration event for scholars.

ACESO SRH Patient Education Content Platform:
Chair, SRH ACESO Patient Education Content Group

Clinical Content Liaison to the ACESO technical team

Therapy Professional Development Lead
Liaison and counsel with staff for growth and development opportunities.

Work with SR Therapy Leaders to develop network level Practice Councils to work with the SIGs and establish standard measures and consistently shared and measured clinical guidelines for diagnosis area.

Qualifications
Required:
Masters degree or equivalent experience in education, training or organizational development preferred.

5 years progressively responsible experience in learning, training, or organizational development

5 years of management experience

Experience with, or working in collaboration in support of, inclusion through development.

Relevant practitioner certification and licensure

Experience in academic healthcare

Computer proficiency required.

Microsoft Office applications preferred with ability to learn new software.

Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse population.

Work independently, be self-directed and contribute as a member of a team.

Anticipates challenges and develops and implements strategies for addressing them.

High level of service delivery. Demonstrate initiative with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and adapt to changing situations.
